Internships

The Student Career Development Centre (SCDC) oversees the internship process for all faculties. If you have any enquiries about internship, you may also refer to your internship coordinators of your faculty. Currently, SCDC is handling internships for Computer Science (CS ) or IT related courses, or to be exact, internships of the Faculty of Computing and IT (FOCS). FOCS students would be using a platform called ITP.

We are looking for Public Relation/Psychology Interns! Please email your resume to scdc@tarc.edu.my

We usually get Public Relation (PR) students as our intern to promote SCDC and also because we have various events and programs. Mainly, interns would be working on social media, virtual or physical event publicity and management and other administrative tasks. Psychology Interns are welcomed as well as all of us here are from the background of Psychology. However, many tasks may involve elements of event planning.

Working hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm (Mondays to Fridays) with 1 hour lunch break (1.5 hours on Friday)
Allowance is provided.

The general job scope for SCDC interns are as below:

Handle career and internship related general enquiries via email, phone call, social media platform, walk-in students etc.
Manage social media platforms
Assist in career advisory services to students (guidance provided)
Event planning & execution (career & internship fair or any other events)
Administration tasks
Any other duties assigned by UC or your superior.
